As voters headed to the polling stations this weekend, one of the big issues on everyone's mind was the housing affordability crisis.
Low interest rates and a huge gap in supply has brought house prices to all-time highs, even through a pandemic and a recession.
With the reserve bank lifting interest rates, many analysts are now predicting a drop in house prices. But is this prediction accurate? And will the increased mortgage pressure make it just as hard for young people to secure their first home?
