Testamur registration
Please first read about preparing to graduate.
After your award has been conferred, you'll be given options to nominate how you'll receive your graduation documents:
- Log in to My Student Admin and select the Testamur Registration tab (we'll let you know when this is available).
- Update your contact details (especially mailing address and personal email address).
- Review the name of the degree that you've recently completed.
- Select a collection preference - whether you're attending a graduation ceremony or not, all eligible UTS graduates are required to register for one of the below options:
Collection preference options:
By Mail
Select this if you'd like to receive a printed copy of your testamur by mail, to be posted to your 'preferred address',
Please note that if you select this option, there is a registered postage charge of $25 (local), or $75 (international).
Once you've received your testamur by mail, you won't receive another testamur at your graduation ceremony. You're welcome to bring your testamur to your graduation ceremony for photos before or after your ceremony.
Hold
Select this if you'd like to have your printed testamur stored on-campus and collect it:
- during a future graduation ceremony or,
- from the UTS Student Centre.
Collection on-campus outside of graduation ceremonies is only available from the UTS Student Centre. You must present your student ID card or other form of photo id (e.g. passport, Australian Drivers Licence).
Student questions
I can't view the Testamur Registration tab in My Student Admin.
If you can't view the Graduation tab in My Student Admin, please contact the UTS Student Centre so they can investigate the matter.
What happens if I don't complete testamur registration?
If you don't complete testamur registration, that's ok! Your printed testamur will be available for collection at the UTS Student Centre. UTS will retain your printed testamur for twelve months. If not collected after twelve months, your testamur will be securely disposed of in keeping with university document retention guidelines.
You can arrange to have your testamur mailed to you by completing the testamur and document mailout fee form.
