Bachelor of Arts in Human Movement Studies
I completed a Bachelor of Arts in Human Movement Studies (now titled Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science) at UTS, followed by an Honours Degree. I found my studies at UTS to be a great mix of theoretical information and practical experience.
During my undergraduate studies I completed a professional internship in the Sports Science Laboratory at the Sydney Academy of Sport in Narrabeen. This led directly to casual employment at the Academy, and later a full time position for two years. During this time I was able to gain experience working with a wide variety of sports including the Manly Sea Eagles. This position was an important step towards my current position with the Sydney Swans. Therefore I can clearly trace the success I have had so far in the industry directly back to my studies at UTS.
