Precincts and locations
The UTS City campus is made up of three main building clusters called precincts, as well as other specialist facilities and student accommodation buildings.
The Broadway precinct includes the Tower, UTS Central (Building 2) and a number of faculty buildings for Science, Health, Arts and Social Sciences, Engineering and IT, and Design, Architecture and Building. The Haymarket precinct is located near Chinatown and includes Building 5 (the former UTS Library) and the Frank Gehry-designed Dr Chau Chak Wng Building. The Blackfriars precinct is home to the Blackfriar's Children's Central (UTS child care) and a number of other small buildings.
UTS specialist facilities outside of the primary camus hub include the UTS Rugby Australia Building in Moore Park, UTS Tech Lab at Botany and the UTS Kidman Centre within the Prince of Wales Hospital complex in Randwick.

UTS Rugby Australia Building (MP01) Map
Cnr Moore Park Road and Driver Avenue, Moore Park, NSW 2021The UTS Rugby Australia Building, in Sydney's Moore Park sports precinct, is home to more than 700 UTS students, staff and researchers from UTS's sport and exercise science, sports media and physiotherapy programs.

Building 11, Faculty of Engineering and IT Building (CB11) Map
81 Broadway, Broadway, NSW 2007Building 11 houses Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology (FEIT) teaching, learning, research and administration spaces over its 14 levels, including the Dean's Unit on level 11. Specialist facilities include the Data Arena, an immersive 360-degree data visualisation space on level 2.

Building 20, UTS Graduate School of Health at One Hundred Broadway (CB20) Map

The UTS Graduate School of Health is accommodated across five levels of the One Hundred Broadway building on the corner of Abercrombie St and Broadway.The public reception is on level 7.Other facilities include collaborative classrooms, simulation rooms, consulting spaces and research facilities. -
Building 7, Vicki Sara Building (CB07) Map
67 Thomas Street, Broadway, NSW 2007The Vicki Sara Building, or Building 7, houses UTS Science. Located on the corner of Thomas and Jones streets, Building 7 connects seamlessly to Building 4, creating a science and health precinct. State-of-the-art facilities include a multi-disciplinary Super Lab, crime scene simulation facilities, the ProtoSpace additive manufacturing facility and the Biologics Innovation Facility.
Building 7, which opened in 2015, has a 6 Green Star sustainability rating, awarded by the Green Building Council of Australia.

Building 8, Dr Chau Chak Wing Building (UTS Business School) (CB08) Map
14 Ultimo Road, Ultimo, NSW 2007The iconic Dr Chau Chak Wing Building is the first building in Australia designed by Frank Gehry, one of the world’s most influential architects.
The building's 11 occupied floors provide teaching, learning, research and staff accommodation for the UTS Business School, as well as student lounges and cafes.
Since the building opened in early 2015, it has become a Sydney landmark.

Green Theatre, Building 7, Level 2The 'Green Theatre' on level 2 of the Vicki Sara 'Science' Building is a 200-seat lecture theatre with striking green walls, floor, ceiling and seats.
The theatre is located a level below ground level and can be accessed via stairs or lifts at either end of the building.

The UTS Library has moved to its new home in UTS Central, across levels 7 to 9. The main entry, General Inquiries desk and Open Reserve are on level 7.
The Library offers a variety of spaces for individual and collaborative study, including quiet and silent study zones, as well as two terraces accessible from level 8.

The UTS Chancellery holds the offices of the UTS Chancellor, Provost and Deputy Vice-Chancellors.
It is also an occassional events space for university events.

The Great Hall - Tower, Building 1 (CB01) Map
Tower, Building 1, Level 5Access from the level 4 lobby via the stairs or lifts.
The Great Hall is used as the main venue on campus for graduations, examinations, orientations, enrolments, and public lectures.
It is also used for conferences and exhibitions and can be hired for external events. Find out more.
The hall can comfortably accommodate up to 800 people and has a large open foyer space suitable for registrations, exhibitions, or catering.

The Guthrie Theatre - Peter Johnson Building, Building 6 (CB06) Map
Peter Johnson Building, Building 6, Level 3 (CB06.03)The Guthrie Theatre is used as a lecture theatre and public events space. Centrally located in Building 6, is can be accessed from Broadway campus buildings using the Harris St footbridge.
The theatre has a capacity to seat 330 people and is close to numerous breakout rooms and a smaller 176-seat lecture theatre.

Aerial UTS Function Centre - Building 10 (CB10) Map
Building 10, Level 7 (CB10.07)The Aerial UTS Function Centre, refurbished in 2017, is centrally located near Central train station, bus routes and numerous car parking stations, making it a convenient venue for guests.
The venue's five function rooms can be opened into one large pillarless space, boasting natural light and outdoor terraces. Aerial caters for a wide variety of events and functions, including dinners, conferences, meetings, presentations and much more.

Alumni Green Map
Inspired by some of the world’s great public spaces, Alumni Green is the university's 'green heart', providing a central meeting place filled with student-focused spaces.
These include a large grassed lawn, intimate garden ‘pods’ with outdoor tables and benches, and a paved open space with bench seating.
Alumni Green connects the rear of the Tower with Buildings 2, 4, 7, 10 and 11. It's surrounded by a range of on-campus eateries including Cafe 10, Cornerstone Cafe, Penny Lane Cafe, The Terrace and the UTS Central food court. -
Powerhouse Museum venues (PH01) Map
The UTS Collaborative Theatre
UTS operates two venues at the Powerhouse Museum. The Powerhouse Theatre (PH01.02.100) is a 300-seat theatre on level 2 of the Powerhouse Museum. The UTS Collaborative Theatre (PH01.03.101) is a 400-seat collaborative classroom. Access for authorised students and staff is via the level 1 entry from The Goods Line.

UTS Animal Logic Academy Map

UTS Animal Logic Academy is a world class digital-production education centre that offers an accelerated, industry-focused Master of Animation & Visualisation as well as postgraduate research opportunities.
Established in 2017, the Academy is a custom built VFX studio and teaching facility housed within Building 15.
