Attending Network Café can open up a world of opportunities for you. Besides making new friends, you can practice your English skills, learn more about Australian culture and find answers to your questions about student life at UTS.

You will also have the opportunity to find out about the Australian workplace and develop valuable skills you can take with you into your future of work.

The Local Legends (current students) are there to help you settle in, gain confidence and become established at UTS. We hope that you will feel comfortable approaching them with any questions or problems you may have.

To be eligible to join, you must be a first-year International, Study Abroad or Exchange student at UTS.

Our Local Legends are Peer Networkers who have finished at least one semester at UTS and know their way around! 

They are here to help you get used to UTS Campus and Sydney itself, as well as answer any questions you might have about student life at UTS.

They are always happy to help, so don't be afraid to approach them for a chat. 

Coffee

If you attend any of our coffee drop-ins, you receive a free coffee voucher. All you have to do is turn up and check-in!

Tickets to tour the Sydney Opera House

If you attend 80% of our drop-in sessions you'll be put in the draw to win 1 of 20 tickets for a Sydney Opera House tour.

• I loved the friendly vibe and chit-chat we had every Tuesday with people from different backgrounds and countries.
• The regular coffee catch-up was definitely the best way to get to know new people and meet up with friends throughout session.
